Project Overview
Overview
ShiftFlow is an employee time tracking app designed to reduce manual work and increase team productivity. The platform enables users to clock in/out easily, manage timesheets, and generate insights that help businesses grow more efficiently.
My Role
I led the UX research and UI design of the mobile and web platforms. My responsibilities included creating user flows, wireframes, visual components, and interactive prototypes. I also collaborated closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and optimized the user experience for both employees and managers.
Goal
- Make time tracking intuitive and effortless
- Minimize missed clock-ins with reminders and automation
- Provide clean visual analytics for fast decision-making

Website Design
I also designed ShiftFlow’s marketing website, focusing on clear value communication, trust-building stats, and clean visual hierarchy. The site features product benefits, testimonials, and a quick onboarding call-to-action, designed to boost trial sign-ups and user retention. All pages were created with responsiveness and accessibility in mind.

Outcomes
- 53K+ teams onboarded
- 4.8/5 average rating
- 33K+ daily shift check-ins
- Customers report saving 5+ hours weekly in admin time
What I learned
This project taught me how to balance business objectives—like increasing user retention and trial conversions—with the need for a clear, intuitive experience that empowers users. I learned to advocate for users while also aligning with product goals by working closely with developers and product managers. Through open communication, fast iteration, and shared ownership of the design process, we were able to create solutions that were both user-friendly and strategically impactful.
